Hey Elena,
Do you know any boba places where you can get pearl tea without caffeine (and without sweet if you don't want)? I know enough people who love pearl milk TEA for the tea and don't want the extra sugar -- the starch of the tapioca and the flavor of the tea are enough.

I would love to see your ranking of pearl tea places.

Verde on Villa does no sugar, I think they are the best since they are both 1/3 cheaper than other places, and also shakes their drinks, which is more commonly how it is done in Taiwan. Generally, any place that froths their milk tea is a good sign.

I wish there was a place that had traditional Taiwanese shaved ice, which is non-flavored ice, since the toppings are enough sweet.

@Food nerd- A lot of places now allow you to specify your level of sweetness, including 0%. As for caffeine, that depends on the offerings of each shop.

@Chris Chiang- Have you tried Meet Fresh?

Considering 1/3 of the population of the United States is diabetic, they would start to get it. Turn your light bulb on and understand we do not want so much added refined sugars to our drinks and deserts. You are alienating about 1/3 of all your potential customers. Get wise.
