Mountain View company touts aviation history with flight of crewless cargo plane

With nobody aboard, a cargo airplane circled the skies last month at Hollister Municipal Airport before touching down on tarmac to cheers and applause from pilots remotely operating the aircraft 50 miles away in Mountain View.

Now - an "emergency precautionary landing"? a "dead-stick" landing?, a "return to field" aborted takeoff (engine-out)?, a 'lost-our-com-link' interruption? (even a com-link complete failure/ smart enough to circle over a desolate place?)

I wonder how well their system could 'fly' the Cessna 208B Caravan simulator in very adverse weather conditions like icing.
