Multifaith organization to host vigil for peace in the Middle East

A vigil is set to take place at 6:30 p.m. in King Plaza, where community members will mourn those who have died in the conflict between Israel and Hamas and stand with those who are facing hatred.

In the war between Israel and Hamas, only one side has an express goal of genocidal war, and it's not Israel. If this group stands with people who face hatred, you'd think that would include Jews. And yet, in a city with a large and diverse Jewish community, they only got one very small Jewish group to join them. Something doesn't sound right.
