Housing outlook: Why 2024 will be a better market for both sellers and buyers

The California Association of Realtors predicts slower economic growth and cooling inflation will bring down mortgage interest rates, which will spur home sales and create a better housing market for both buyers and sellers.

Why are we hearing this, when Redfin just said that the housing market is in serious trouble?

This kind of advertisement is bad taste

THis report seems to be not very accurate.

The report here shows the vacancy rate in the city was 6.1% in 2022

REcent information shows that currently there is 10.22% from Best Meighborooh

But that means the vacancy rate jumped 67%. Yes the asking rates are good.

But this is called the Manufacturers Suggested Retail Price.

However the vacancies and sales are so bad, it cannot be that the market is actually supporting those prices. It is very clear they are not the ones being accepted.

This story needs to be revised.
