CHAC, Mountain View's mental health nonprofit, puts clinic services on hiatus as it deals with budget deficit

Mountain View-based mental health services nonprofit CHAC announced that its clinic services will be going on hiatus beginning in August due to a currently insurmountable budget deficit.

CHAC is a valuable community resource, providing much-needed mental health support in these difficult times. I’m so glad that school support will continue. Getting Medi-Cal eligibility sounds like a good strategy to re-open the office-based clinic. The local K-8th school district, MVWSD, significantly increased their contribution according to this coming year's budget. yeah! The MVWSD besides getting services, is one of the original JPA founders of CHAC.
