A bikeway on Castro would be asinine. The simple fact that bikes are no longer allowed on the 100-300 blocks is proof enough. If they want a place for bikes to be safe, it would be on View St. View already has speed bumps and the silly roundabout islands. All they would need to do is cut in grooves through the speed bumps for bikes, make EVERY intersection a four way stop, because we all know the bikes don’t stop anyway, add “sharrows”, and of course signage to direct bicycles to the street.
