In the public schools of Mountain View the demographic data shows a slow and steady increase in the proportions of Asians as a subgroup. Of course, this is not Chinese, but Lunar New Year is celebrated throughout Eastern and Southeastern Asia.

It is good to see this multi-cultural event starting to happen in Mountain View. It is interesting to see the Lunar New Year celebrated in 'the Vietnamese style' in San Jose, and the Mercury News just had an article how to 'food celebrate' Korean style Lunar New Year.
