ahhh. When I saw that the "Lambert" in the article / hoped it might be related to the new MVWSD Trustee (Bill/William). How much of the (White - Hispanic) Academic Achievement GAP is connected to undiagnosed "students with dyslexia, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and other learning differences"? I hope the re-new Trustee can focus his Board on taking care of these students here! The MVWSD has continuing Special Ed problems resulting in Hundreds of Thousands of dollars in special ed legal settlements costs.

Come-on Bill! Shake up your Board compatriots - who seem to still be Dropping It (the ball).

Jan 26th Bd. Meeting CLOSED SESSION, A. Litigation 2. "Proposed settlement ... concerning special education and related services". How much this time?
/ May 5, 2022 CLOSED SESSION, Anticipated litigation 4 cases
student #60005599 / .... and so on till end of year ...
/Dec 8, 2022 CLOSED SESSION /report #60015909 $340,168 settlement.

Can the Voice compile and report on how many Special Ed settlements in 2022? What was the Cost of Payouts (like the $340,168 above) and the costs of lawyers for this - {BTW, after a case is settled, the district's total legal advice and defense bill for that case become public records that Must Be disclosed / CA Public Records Act}
