Rosen is a decent enough DA against real crimes but is an egregious grandstander whenever a headline features him prominently. Free Speech by definition will be offensive speech to somebody. It's a slippery slope- the speech police = the thought police. How far away are we from tracking down and punishing people for thought crimes? It's already being done in the workplace with the whole pronouns mandate.

Just an Observation,

Now that Meta, Alphabet, and Twitter are on their way to closure, it might not matter.

In any event, the fact that ALL MODERATORS are fired will kill any Section 230 protections, that is why these attorneys are getting ready. The facts are they lost their immunity from lawsuits and the sharks are ready, they smell blood.

You might just not be aware that this is a problem and the courts will address it. Sorry if you invested in any of them.

We the People are the solution to online hate speech, not misinformation boards and censorship.

Unfortunately mob mentality can be manipulated. Remember Adolph Hitler gained power through propaganda. THe same thing with Richard Nixon. And of course Donald trump used this system to manipulate people.

The facts are we have a flooding of misinformation in a system that actually has very little policing. You should watch Viva Frie, Alex jones and Dinesh Dsousa on Youtube.

The facts are without establishing compliance systems to filter out disinformation, you are going to have these people buy access to the internet and convince people into so many conspiracies, like Pizzagate, the big lie, and even still encouraging the use of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquin.

This is the danger Carl sagan warned us about in the book the Deamon Haunted World. And he warned us in 1993
