On Sept. 20 I moderated a Candidate Forum that featured the 6 candidates running for the MVLA High School Board. Though I had never met Ms. Ortiz before yesterday, she impressed me very much and I will be voting for her and plan to donate to her campaign. I also support Eric Mark and Thida Cornes for the other two seats on the MVLA Board.

@ Bruce and @ Zoe
Do either of you know the residential status of Ortiz? Is she a Los Altos or Mountain View resident?
Does she reside North of El Camino or toward the wealthier South?
- In MVLA Board election politics, there has not been a North of El Camino Real Board member in the 21st century or an Hispanic/Latino/Latina either.

I'm particulary 'tired' of exclusive South of ECR trustees at MVLA. It distorts the view of reality.

@father of 3 sons - Esme Ortiz lives in the Whisman area of Mountain View (so, north of El Camino Real).
