Lawsuit, possible license suspension loom for Tesla over alleged autonomous-vehicle deceptions

Tesla has found itself on a collision course with state and federal agencies -- plus a customer who initiated a class-action lawsuit -- over allegations of misleading the public regarding its cars' self-driving capabilities.

Tesla has repeatedly fooled the public on their technology being ready for prime-time, and that is simply not the case. It's about time someone calls them on it. Much like Mark Zuckerberg finds himself in front of Congress answering allegations of data breaches and privacy matters, so to should Elon find himself answering why he consistently and unabashedly lied to the public about self-driving cars being safe.
