Anticipation, nerves and excitement as kids return for the first day of school

At Monta Loma Elementary School on Wednesday, the first day of the third school year to begin during the pandemic looked in many ways like it might have in 2019, with families snapping photos and parents waving goodbye.

Reporter Morgan attended and graduated from the Los Altos local elementary district, but has had lifelong friends in all the local schools (including MVWSD, MVLA and Stanford)
