Just understand this critical part of the story:
This is applications for a WAIT LIST, who knows how long these applications will take to be processed and whether anyone will actually be provided any housing in this situation.
This is a very cruel article because as we all know it can take years for wait lists to actually provide housing. There is no mention of how long it will take to get approval or be allowed to move in. This appears to be a rather disingenuous promise from Prometheus and its intent.
In fact this is an attempt to get a new housing project approved, where they will REVERSE their actions after the fact. Of just claim they didn't get any applicants that qualify for their standards of entry.

What people do not understand until recently is that Covid is still a wildfire. The science says that every 1000 infections results in at least 1 more variant. The SCC has seen 1000 cases a day for about 2 months now. It is amazing that people think it is over. Recent news in the SF Chron and the SJ Merc is proving it is still a wildfire.
And you think this situation is going to provide either affordable housing and water? Time for people to get prepared for a VERY LONG COVID YEAR
