"The audit carries no authority other than to inform the Legislature."
Not comforting, especially considering:
"The report to the California Legislature found that the new Office of Energy Infrastructure Safety approved utility companies' wildfire prevention plans even when they were "seriously deficient." "
Bottom line:
"the state auditor reported Thursday that state officials are failing to hold California's electric utilities accountable for preventing fires caused by their equipment."

What a shock…
I’ve notified our governor that if he doesn’t attempt to break up PG&E, this liberal will NOT vote for him. Enough is enough.
