Mountain View City Council votes on rules for future SB 9 homes on single-family lots

The Mountain View City Council voted unanimously Tuesday on a set of rules that will guide residential development under a controversial state law that allows up to four units on a single-family property.

Thank you Councilwoman / former urban planner / Alison Hicks - for your 16" to 12" 'amendment'. That makes more sense to me also!

And - it shows that a good 'parliamentary legislative process' can allow OUR LOCAL ELECTED OFFICIALs to set the policy / not the hired staff via just their recommendations/proposals!

The current school board - will be spending 90 min - 'directing' the staff on the next two decades of SCHOOL GROWTH in MVWSD. DID YOU KNOW?
