An entire article about child care without the word "father" in it once, reflecting the fact that we're still at the place in our society where the care of children is considered the mother's problem and reflecting a bias toward straight families.

I appreciate Rosie Lopez reminding us that this affects both parents. I'd love to hear a father's voice included in an article like this someday.
