Rare sighting of an Oriental turtle-dove has birders flocking to a Palo Alto neighborhood

A bird sighted last week only for the third time in California has hundreds of birders flocking to a Palo Alto neighborhood with birding scopes, binoculars and cameras.

Love this article!!!! Thank you Birders for sharing info regarding nature’s rarities. It’s soo educational and uplifting to hear of these migratory birds and the distances they travel!!! Incredibly funny but true that their internal GPS system go wacky along with health issues as sight. Hope to hear updates on this little guy and maybe just maybe a new hybrid of this species. Thanks for sharing!!!
