Mexican artist Fernando Escartiz's 'Stardust' brings life to Día de los Muertos celebration

From cataclysmic destruction, new life emerges. That's the idea behind Mexican Artist Fernando Escartiz's new art installation "We Are Stardust" arriving later this month at the Art Kiosk in the Redwood City's Courthouse Square.

I may not 'get around town' up to RWC from MV, but nice to read about 'cosmology related to culture' and art. The astronomical concept of recycling 'dust from stars' into new star systems, habitaible planets, and ultimately "the dust" of which we are 'composed' is a fitting art composition.

And our kids learn it in school! NGSS MS-ESS1-3, decoded = Next Generation Science Standards, Middle School, Earth and Space Sciences, 1-3 (adopted and currenly implemented in California public schools)
