I am trying to picture how Laura's law will be implemented. Unless a person with severe mental health issues is compliant in taking medication daily, therapy or behavioral treatments will be ineffective. There are not resources by parents, caregivers or health care professionals to go to someone's home or place on the street daily to make sure they are medicated. And as Mrs. Baldwin stated about her son, someone whose mind is not working properly is not going to answer the phone, figure out transportation to a clinic or be home for an at home appointment. There also is a big shortage of therapists so where are the professional helpers going to come from? I think people care deeply about helping those with mental health concerns but there are a lot of obstacles to overcome.

Shouldn't a wealthy, caring community come up with the resources needed? Or rather - allocate the existing resources to these caring programs?
County goverment resource allocation - extra pandemic funds - employee across-the-board bonus. That is exactly the type of a multi-million dollar Mis-allocation of community tax revenue resource that many of us 'scratch our heads' about. IMO
