Santa Clara County set to purchase Crestview Hotel for homeless housing

The Santa Clara County Board of Supervisors voted Tuesday to move forward with plans to buy Crestview Hotel in Mountain View in order to convert it into permanent housing for the homeless.

Good job to Mountain View City Council and Santa Clara County for pulling this project together! Our area needs this kind of resource and it’s great to take advantage of the window to use some state funds. Nearby neighbors who have concerns should request operating policies that address those concerns, such as on-site services, etc.
