California's eviction moratorium expires next week. Is Mountain View ready?

A statewide eviction moratorium aimed at helping families stay housed during the COVID-19 pandemic ends next week, opening the door for landlords to once again evict tenants who fall behind on rent.

I am totally pro-helping the needy but I also believe that the best way of helping is not with free rents and free handouts but in a dignified way. Let us give them jobs, let us create jobs so they can work and earn their living in a dignified way without having to beg for food and housing. Let us open the economy and put people to work.
