Mountain View residents are well-educated and intelligent, but much of what they know is nonsense. We are three days past the election and what has Gavin given us? The elimination of local zoning, so that our residential neighborhoods can be destroyed by outside & real estate interests. Talk about voting against your own interests!
We will also see Sacramento favor the public sector unions which provided Gavin with at least $9 million. Parent leverage on school boards is weakened. Further strangulation of charter schools is likely to occur, continuing the entrapment of minorities in failing public schools.
Crime is likely to rise as we allow the "justice-involved" to walk freely among their victims and witnesses.
Cosmetic policies to "address" climate change will proceed, with handouts to the rich while population growth is favored, damaging the planet.

Raymond, most of the items on your list are NOT controlled by the governor. Go back to and examine each item. Most are actions by the stste legislature and have wide support, if not yours. The reference to what has the governor done in three days since the recall is ludicrous.
