Polling error: How one survey changed the Newsom recall campaign

The early August survey suggested Gov. Gavin Newsom would get ousted -- and scared Democrats and progressives into ramping up their efforts. Republican Larry Elder's rise only fueled those fears.

Binary choice (on first question) NO.
Too bad not a choice of ~ Let the elected Lieutenant Governor assume office
(just like happens when the President of the US is 'not in office' anymore.)
example: The Governorship of the State of New York.

YES on the recall. And pick anyone other than Newsom. CA needs to not be a single party state.

Dan, Hello, the people in CA have voted in the democrats, that's called democracy. Maybe if the more people found other parties' ideas acceptable CA wouldn't be a one party state. If you don't like Newsom, you will have a chance to vote him out in November 2022. Undoing a legitimate democratic election because you don't like the results is not Democracy, it's tyranny.
