Are young voters the key to Gavin Newsom surviving the recall?

Gov. Gavin Newsom and Democrats are hoping young Californians turn out in similar numbers to the November 2020 presidential election.

I don't know why no one is talking about a Newsom Resignation. It would derail this whole farce.
We would also get our first Female Governor... for what that's worth.

Nevermind the French Laundry, Newsom's failings are larger: failure to head-off Covid in the Prisons, Failure to Shut Diablo Canyon, Failure to lead an effort for single-payer (passed by the
Legislature *twice* under Republican Governor), failure to end fracking, failure to fix water policy
in the State.

Seriously, someone tell me a reason for saving this guy besides the standard Democratic
Party "we're not as bad as *them*" argument.

As always, the Left seeks to impel the least educated and the least experienced people to vote their ignorance into our governance. The youngest voters are the target now.
