Real estate interests (Marcus) and labor unions who have been buying our government support Newsom. It is awfully likely that the gov is willing to sign legislation rewarding both. He has already done so in the recent past. Obstructing charter schools diminishes school choice, therefore Equity and Diversity. Feeding the unions further marginalizes voters in California. Weakening local zoning will destroy our current neighborhoods and the social capital that currently exists there.
