Air quality advisory issued through Tuesday

The Bay Area Air Quality Management District is extending an air quality advisory for wildfire smoke through Tuesday.

The school district (MVWSD) is holding a quickly called Special Meeting tonight on their smoke/air quality plan.

Some good - but wish their staff/administration would better understand MERV 13 vs. HEPA filters, and the futility of throwing in small "HEPA-like' room fan-filters when a full HVAC smoke system is called for. If you bring in smoke filled air, for 5 air changes an hour, but only filter the 3/10 um - 1 um smoke at 80% ...

Thank you very much for all these articles that keep the locals informed. This is a very good initiative, because this is how everyone will understand whether it is possible to ventilate their apartments and houses, whether it is possible to go for a long walk, etc.
