Indoor mask mandates are back in Bay Area as COVID cases surge

Seven Bay Area counties announced Monday that residents will be required to wear masks in nearly all indoor settings, marking the first major step in reversing a statewide rollback of public health restrictions in June.

Hmmm. Not sure we're really following "the science" anymore. Vaccinated people are not likely to catch, spread, or be significantly impacted by the Delta variant. And Santa Clara does not have a substantial hospitalization issue, since positive tests no longer correlate with hospitalizations.

All for that but when will the City of Mountain mandate vaccine or regular negative tests for all its employees? The recently reported vaccination rate for MVPD (public safety) are simply unacceptable.
