Forever chemicals: California unveils health goals for contaminated drinking water

California has taken the first big step toward regulating "forever chemicals." Its proposed goals, which aim to make cancer risk negligible, are lower than federal guidelines for drinking water.

AND, the numbers for the sometimes used public drinking water wells in Mountain View (and Palo Alto) are .... ?

I know CalMatters is a statewide public interest news organization. But "all NEWS" is also LOCAL when it comes to the politics of water. There was recently a very good article covering the emergency water plans for MV, PA and other local communities.
