I live on the Coastside and we had so much devastation from the fires last year that homeowners are losing fire insurance coverage and are worried a wind-blown flaming ember will ignite their home from a distance, yet so many nights we hear loud booms going off in the darkness. People are fools to set off fireworks under such dry conditions, but some just don’t care. It’s Okay if it’s fun … to heck with everyone else. I’m so tired of that attitude. The fine should be even higher!
