Gov. Gavin Newsom visits Mountain View, touts interim housing as a key to solving homelessness crisis

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday praised Mountain View and the nonprofit LifeMoves for transforming an industrial site into an interim housing complex for the homeless in just six months, calling it a new way to tackle homelessness.

Funny how news of his visit only drops after he has come and gone. I guess his media team wants to avoid hecklers of this worthless excuse for a governor.

The Governor is wrong. There is absolutely a precedent for creating this type of housing rapidly and at scale. Unfortunately, the precedent is the housing that was created for the internment of Japanese-Americans during World War II.
