Some of the hardest hit by evictions would be the families with students in MVWSD who are poor. They make up over 80% of Castro Elementary and almost half at Mistral. They DO NOT make up a large proportion at either Stevenson or Huff - but the MVWSD is in the process of hiring new staff to help "at-risk" students in these wealthier school? (Dumb huh?) Why not add them (Director Chang) where the Real Risk is - Castro & Mistral / which need many times the "feet on the ground" and "ears to the wind" as HU and ST. Another example of Aid to the Wealthy, exceeds Aid to the poor and poorest! (but HU and ST parents are So Loud & speak English EO!)
