In hard push to herd immunity, Mountain View clinic offers drop-in vaccinations

Nearly 80% of Santa Clara County residents 12 and older have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, but to get that final segment of the community immunized, Mountain View's clinic is giving out shots on a drop-in basis.

From a Palo Alto perspective about 10% less vacination rate, for Mountain View, may not be important of significant (approximately 87%-77%). 1/8 less is significant! Hopefully Simitian's push (Thanks Joe!) will help things get Closer To Equality!

The community around the MV Community Center well represents the higher economic impact and higher health impact of lower income parts of our city. How nice that Joe (and others) have twisted the arms to get this well needed Open Extension of service (and thanks Voice for posting the history of 'high demand' at this MV vacination site.
