@Mountain View Voice. Could you add a link to this organization for readers who might want to donate?
The Los Altos Community Foundation seems to be hosting the group:(could you confirm?) see Web Link

I'm very glad to see our community support this grass roots work by longtime, well-respected community members. I've known and admired Olga Melo and Paula Perez for many, many years and am happy to see the "MV Voice" spotlight their work. (Thank you, Kevin Forestieri!) And thank you to MV City Councilmember Lucas Ramirez and others on the council for creatively supporting this much needed work.

It is good to see that the Latino/a community is well-organizing around this topic. NOTE THE INCLUSION of this group in the actual members. The MVWSD Board (Berman and commenter Wheeler) should really look at their effectiveness at ACTUALLY INCLUDING Hispanics/Latinos. The MVWSD Surveys of parents at schools Do NOT at all work at ACTUALLY INCLUDING. Thanks for the Trustee at the last MVWSD Bd. meeting who 'noticed that'. NOW MVWSD Bd - 'direct DO staff' to FIX THAT!
Don't think above group will at all have the problem MVWSD has at reaching the most affected community members.
@TAL you seem off your data/objective rocker. Latinos is not an equivalence for "illegal." And the two related data you post are affirmations for why this particular community demographic is important in Our Community, for this public problem. "... Promote the general Welfare."
I'm White and wealthy and I ain't had no economic problems in the last year. Gave every penney of That Stimulus to community charities of my choice, who work in this area of need. U 2?
