I was driving in downtown Palo Alto last Thursday afternoon and there was a small traffic jam on Hamilton as I drove toward Stanford. As soon as I saw the the NUTmobile parked outside of the Palo Alto Creamery Fountain & Grill, I stopped being annoyed. The young man pictured in this story was running about, apparently readying it for take off to the next adventure. People were gathered around and smiling. What a wonderful surprise for all! Hope to run into the Wienermobile soon. And whoever decided to kill off Mr. Peanut should be fired and his/her marketing degree rescinded.
