Santa Clara County moves forward with plans to build Los Altos' first all-affordable housing project

Los Altos is poised to nearly double its affordable housing stock with just one project, as Santa Clara County moves forward with plans to build a housing complex with at least 90 units available for low-income residents.

Bravo to Santa Clara County and Los Altos! It’s not a big addition to the affordable housing our area so badly needs, but it’s something. Good to see Los Altos stepping up to remedy its missing fair share of affordable housing.

Pretty sure this is mandated by law, Los Altos is in violation and there is a lawsuit or several behind it. Affordable housing is the last thing any Los Altos resident wants.
