Mountain View leads the way in hiring women firefighters, report finds

Fewer than 1 in 20 firefighters are women across Santa Clara County, raising questions of gender bias, discrimination and lack of inclusivity, according to a report by the county's Civil Grand Jury.

My aunt's favorite past time was ogling hot firefighters. I really don't know how I'm going to break this news to her.

Not surprised that MV City leads. There are very many leading indicators that the administrators of this City help improve. Pointed in the right "direction" by a mainly socially progressive City Council.

"has put both money and effort into leveling the playing field in recent years" Which is the benchmark on HOW to Do It.


Too bad IMO, that the K-8 school district does not know how to improve the Segregation metrics for poor families (and much in the way of Academic Achievement Gap reduction for White-Hispanic).
