Atherton couple donates $80M to Stanford children's hospital, medical school

An Atherton couple has given $80 million to Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford and Stanford University's School of Medicine to improve services for Bay Area mothers and babies.

Kids healthy at birth. A good cause to "give it away", a good time to "give it away", and a good place to "give it away". Or really; it's "a wonderful thing to invest in."
The AMAZON co-founder's wealth given away/invested last (tax) year is also a good turn, like this couple's.
