Original post made on Feb 12, 2021

Vaccinating teachers has become a central sticking point in talks between districts and unions for returning students in person. Limited vaccine supply and a rapidly approaching end of the school year may threaten some reopening plans.

Senator Becker - do you not realize, does your staff not Follow the DATA? Senior residents and citizens are NOT well vaccinated in your district! They are vaccine supply limited at THIS TIME! Why I shout - the deaths are much higher (per capita) for those over 75 years, and those over 65 years than employed teachers.

A 23-53 year old teacher, is highly unlikely to be infected by students OR DIE FROM GETTING INFECTED BY THE VIRUS. Operating under proper (CDC) guidelines, or state TBD guidelines (or SC County or SM county health department wavers).

Dumb pandering to the political power of the teacher's unions.

I sincerely wish the effort to recall Mr. Newsom every possible success.
He kept Plumpjack open throughout the pandemic. 6 friends at a picnic table drinking wine, no food requirements, no masks while drinking-meaning no masks. Pulled in $600k for himself last year while every other small business is crushed under the weight of his science. Like The French Laundry, the science applies to everyone else.

Tried to schedule a vaccination at CVS, Walgreens and PAMF this morning. 0 results for this 65 year old. To be fair, PAMF could schedule me for Modesto, that's where the vaccine is available. Thanks Gavin.
