Santa Clara, San Mateo counties now allowed to reopen still-closed K-6 schools

Four Bay Area counties can now resume in-person classes at all public K-6 schools after their rate of new coronavirus cases fell below the state's threshold to reopen schools.

Of course schools won't reopen. That's why we're seeing so many lawsuits. Why would teachers give up their sweet WFH gig and start commuting again if they can fight this a few more months?

Nevermind the declining mental health of kids and parents. Nevermind the incredibly high asymptomatic and survival rate of this virus for the average aged Teacher. Sure, 100 year olds have kicked the virus easily. BUT A TEACHER MIGHT THEORETICALLY DIIIEEEEE OH THE HORROR.
