Despite months to prep, why California lags on COVID vaccination

Gov. Gavin Newsom says his administration has been planning for a mass COVID-19 vaccination campaign for months. Why have things gone so wrong -- for him and his fellow Californians?

Just another example (e.g., EDD, lockdown) of the incompetence of the Newsom administration. Instead, from the beginning any shipments the state received should have gone directly to hospitals. Once staffing has been inoculated, the rest goes to pharmacies (Walgreens, CVS, Target, Safeway, etc). There should be NO stockpile and we should be eagerly awaiting shipments from the pharmaceutical companies.
