I grew up in Palo Alto and used to go to Foothills Park all the time. I even kept my P.A. address on my ID for as long as I possibly could after I moved to M.V. just so I could continue to gain park entrance. I'd bring my friends. We all really enjoyed it.

These days when I tell my kids about Foothills Park they ask me to take them there but I can't. Was excited to see the changes finally made to include non-P.A. residents, but we've seen what they've now decided in just one month. They should just go back to making it P.A. only, or maybe check your W-2 at the gate to see if you're worthy. I give up on trying or hoping things will change there.

Sometimes bad reputations are well earned.
