By now, anyone flouting the guidances should be flogged in a public square. This is not the time to worry about restaurant capacities when our hospitals are about to overflow.

We have had so many people argue that we need to open up the city for business, and the state, county, and city let it happen.

And now these same people are saying their actions CANNOT be the cause of this flare up.

One constantly argues that outdoor dining cannot be the cause of the problem.

There is no scientific proof of this. But there is a correlation of increased infections after the deployment of outdoor dining. I cannot claim cause and effect myself, but if we are trying to "play it safe" it seems like there is a likely connection.
