Mountain View man pleads guilty to rape, forcing teen into prostitution, following human trafficking investigation

A man accused of trafficking Guatemalan immigrants into the country and forcing them into servitude took a plea deal last month. He's facing years in state prison and possible deportation after release.

Way too lenient. This full-time rapist-pimp will likely be out shortly - with credit for time served in jail. He will be deported but may come right back. Even if he stays in another country, he will engage in his rein of terror there.

He might get deported. It's not clear whether our culture condemns human trafficking or condones it. After all, we didn't get to be the world's 6th largest economy by hiring legal workers, eh? The traffickers even have the nerve to call their victims "immigrants." But the immigrants have no rights, receive no benefits, and must remain hidden from society at all times.
