A sensible clear evaluation. I’m quite proud of how well our community has acted. & our low rate of infection & death is likely the objective result. We are fortunate to have astute policy leadership on behalf of the common good. Thank you Drs Fauci & Cody!!

Agreed,

But I am noticing that if you look at the charts regarding COVID we are slowly reapporoaching the "RED" zone.

There is little that can be done because the virus is an airborne one and can live as much as 48 hours in a contained space at minimum. It can last as much as a week without daily sterilization.

I think if you look at the national situation, we are EXCELLING at keeping it as much under control we can. As long as everyone works together regarding best safety practices.

But the National numbers are terrifying, along with the trend. I said for months we needed to be prepared for a long term change of life. And yet so far I got nothing but criticism for it.

My hopes we can get a "MIRACLE" vaccine, but the problem is we have now 3 generations of the virus, 2 new mutations that are more contagious then the first. Will the vaccine work on the new ones?

The next step toward reducing the horror and death of this pandemic is to DUMP TRUMP. That means vote if you qualify. But voting here in a deep blue state is not the key. The key is to affect the vote in swing states. From California, that can be done by giving money to the Democratic party or candidates to use in swing states and/or by signing up to phone from home into swing states. You would be posing as a local, I suppose. In some states that could require that you play dumb. But here's the catch. Trump and his comrades will sue challenging ballots in every swing states it appears he will lose. The aim may be to not seat enough state delegations in the Electoral College by mid-December so time runs out. Then, the next President will be chosen by the House of Representatives in January. Oh great, some may think. Democrats hold tbe House. But wait. Under the Constitution, the President is there selected by state delegations: one state, one vote. Currently, Republican house members are a majority in 26 states. 22 states have mostly Democrat house members. 2 states have an even number. If that does not change, Trump would become President for 4 more years.

Well now that Britain has gone back to total lockdown mode again, when will it be our turn?

Now they are "hoping" it will be for 1 month, but we all know that is not yet determined.

It looks like it may be a very "dark" holiday season, the stock market is starting to go back into "lockdown" losses again.

They borrowed a huge amount of money to purchase stocks again, and now that they are tanking again, the "REPO" process is likely going to be tested, if not collapse.

Credit is tightening which means less borrowing, which means more losses.

All because no one takes the COVID problem REALLY seriously, at least not yet.
