Redwood forests could take years to recover from CZU Complex fires

It took 37 days to contain the CZU Lightning Complex fire in San Mateo and Santa Cruz counties, but the recovery process for charred forests in the Santa Cruz Mountains is only beginning.

I am ready, available , & committed to helping restore Butano, Pescadero Creek, & Big Basin.
I will work for free on the weekends. Just let me know who I call or email. My children & I love the forest & especially our coastal Redwoods. Put me on the manpower list. It's just horrible what has happened. Thank you
