Another resource; I find that Pete Stahl's in depth analysis of the propositions very helpful, even though I may not agree on all of his recommendations it is a very good starting point. Web Link

After considerable research, I am voting,

Yes: on 20 and 22

NO: on everything else.

If you do not have the time to research the proposition yourself, do not vote on it.

If you absolutely feel that it is your job to vote, even without knowing the subject, vote NO on it.

Gladys,

WOW,

We should take YOUR word regarding our votes.

Talking about being a totalitarian dictator?

I strongly URGE voters to do homework, and make up your OWN minds.

Never vote when you don't know what your voting about. If you DON'T KNOW, DON'T VOTE at all because you have a 50% chance your vote will do damage to yourself.

How to vote? Very early OR not by mail. I received a letter from San Jose (California) last month that took 14 days to travel 10 miles to Mountain View. And President Trump might shut down the Postal Service completely or at least for the delivery of ("fraudulent") mail-in ballots. So how else to submit your ballot envelope? There are listed official drop boxes in Mountain View at city hall, the library and fire station no. 4 (on Whisman). You can use any drop box in the county as all envelopes go to the county. If anyone reading this lives in another county or state or country, please note that you should not drop off your ballot envelope in a Santa Clara County drop box! There will be a few voting places open in Mountain View starting on Halloween (October 31 if you forgot) through 8pm on Tuesday, November 3 at: (1) Santiago Villa Mobile Home Park on Space Park Way (near Shoreline and 101), (2) St. Timothy Episcopal Church at 2094 Grant Road and (3) Church of Scientology, 1066 Linda Vista Avenue.

Regarding the write up for Prop 16, the sentence copied below has quotation marks around overrepresented, but not underrepresented. In fairness, it seems to me that either both or neither should be set off that way. Both over and under representation are evaluated the same way.

"...They argue that boosting enrollment of students from underrepresented racial groups would come at the expense of "overrepresented" Asian American students."
