During Spare The Air days, and especially now with severe wild fire smoke why are leaf blowers allowed? It's raining ashes, we have a blanket of smoke so severe our sky is black, hazy or orange, breathing is difficult. Friday, the worst air quality day in the world at 8AM there's a landscaper blowing ashes in peoples cars, windows, doors, etc. WHY?????? San Jose has landscapers pick a day for all of them to landscape on the same day. It helps them to have this instead of having everyday a different Gardner invading people's respiratory. Several people don't have air conditioners, some people have open windows to circulate the air. I wish city council members would take this matter up and do something about it. It's election time and I for one will vote for the person that brings this problem up and make a difference.

Now, where are the climate change deniers?
Granted, the smoke will cool us off for the short term because of the particles in the atmosphere, but once they settle, the additional CO2 created by the fires will simply fuel the warming trend unless we actively remove the CO2 from the atmosphere.
It can be done, but it will cost Trillions to do it.
Watch the old TV show called Seaquest DSV the premier episode of season 2 called Daggers. They had to build ARTIFICIAL CO2 scrubbers all over the world to convert CO2 to O2 because it was making the global atmosphere toxic. One by reduction of the O2 levels in the atmosphere and the toxic levels of CO2.
In effect it looks like we may be extinct in about 100 years if we don't get our act together NOW.
