Now - will the MVWSD Board, and the neighborhood around Cooper School - show similar compassion? I doubt it. Too many wealthy NIMBYs in both groups.
I'm glad the City, working with The County, and others is on top of this. All the MVWSD has to do, is "lease" the vacant Cooper School land, that has been used for Construction Trailers, to The County (or City). Then the County/City can do the rest (legally)!
YIMBY: Cuesta Park Annex (unused land in a residential area, close to schools and shopping & transportation). PLEASE CITY, do the same here!

Makes sense — couple of liquor stores within walking distance.
Wonderful how the city managers are so generous with the citizens' tax money toward the transient folks.
