Hungry for housing, Palo Alto seeks to lure developers to San Antonio Road

After failing to lure residential developments to its main downtown districts, Palo Alto is shifting its sights to a part of the city that few in the past had envisioned as an ideal housing destination: San Antonio Road.

For years I have proposed to Palo Alto Council members, including "residentialists," that they plan for housing in this part of Palo Alto, which everyone thinks is in Mountain View. I suggest a new term: DKIIMBY (Don't know it's in my back yard)
