What a bad week for Trump:

First he lost the Transgender ruling.

Next the COVID problem is getting worse.

Then he loses in the DACA case.

On top of that the job losses are still above even Wall Street expectations.

Finally, I guess he is learning the Supreme Court is increasingly likely going to force him to disclose his finances.

He is now attacking everyone saying all of his problems are the fault of others. Even his own choice of judges. He has no understanding about his accountability as a person or president.

He got used to being absolute authority because he ran only private businesses. He i think did have shares of stock but gave that up quickly when he had to disclose his finances to the public and the SEC.

And even the doctors are saying that if there isn't any restoration of some COVID controls, it is starting to flare up again.

What a week for him.

I'm so relieved for this ruling. Hopefully we can get a path to citizenship. This is my home, it has been for almost 30 years. I don't want to go back to the shadows. God is good!

Many of us moderates in the middle (including national editorial commentator Ruben Navarrette Jr. /Washington Post) think that a permanent federal fix to this type of immigration/nationalization problem will not come from further executive orders. It will need bi-partisan legislative solution. Neither party has been willing to compromise.

The Reagan era "amnesty" followed by "a path to citizenship" did not work for very long. Republicans will never support this again. But legislative Democrats cannot get their wish for All Immigrants to get a "path to citizenship" - no mater how they entered the country. I'm not sure 'the middle' wants that either. A guaranteed path to LEGAL RESIDENCY (a 'greenish' card) extending far beyond the DACA limits makes more sense for many of us. Should all DACA parents also be guaranteed a 'path to citizenship'? I would not be willing to support that.

There is a direct line between America's drug habits and the instability of Central American Countries. To get a flavor of America's long running war of drugs, read the "Novel", "The Borders" by Doug Winslow. It outlines what is happening to communities that are run by drug cartels. Seems to me the damage the US does by taking illegal drugs is the major reason we have undocumented people crossing the border. I don't pretend to have the answers, but there is SO much money being made because the US uses these drugs there is no real incentive to stop the import of drugs.

As Trump tweeted, the Supreme Court just punted on this, and the Trump administration will be getting the procedures right for ending DACA and refiling. All Dreamers should start preparing to return to their home countries as DACA will be ended.
